I think I'm smart, but moments like this make me feel pretty dumb. I did it in the first semester and was happy because I got it out of the way. My very first test in Calculus II looked sumpin' like this. When I got home, I fired up the coffee pot and started studying. At my high school, we had the option of taking either AP Calc AB or AP Calc BC. Let's recall what we mean by pi. It's great to hear another person disturbed by the simple-mindedness of popular culture. I do pity you guys quite a bit as I thoroughly enjoyed Calculus 2. I had a Navy Reserve meeting the night before and we had a few beers. As I think back to my own senior year of high school, I remember one particular class that my friends and I didn't enjoy: AP Calculus. Posts like these make me glad that I placed out of Calculus I and II, although at times I consider what it would be like as a mechanical engineer over a biology undergrad.
